New release! Stiff Little Fingers ‘Nobody’s Heroes’ 3CD/DVD, 2LP and 2CD sets

New release, September 18, 2026: Stiff Little Fingers' ‘Nobody’s Heroes’ 3CD/DVD, 2LP and 2CD sets. This brand-new reissue is available as both a limited-edition 3CD/DVD box set and 2LP and 2CD editions. Originally released in March 1980, ‘Nobody’s Heroes’ is the second album from Stiff Little Fingers.
The limited-edition 3CD/DVD set includes a new remastered version of the original album, plus six bonus tracks. The second disc brings together all the relevant BBC Radio 1 John Peel and Mike Read sessions from the period, with the DVD offering five live TV appearances. The third CD is a recently discovered, previously unreleased full live performance from April 1980 at Pop Met, Rotterdam, originally broadcast on Dutch Radio. This special live recording features rarely played tracks ‘No Change’ and ‘Bloody Dub’ as well as a blast through the Undertones' ‘Teenage Kicks’. The sleeve note booklet includes previously unseen and rare photographs, period memorabilia, and unique pieces from Gordon Ogilvie's archive.
The 2LP and 2CD versions include the 2026 remastered album and a selection of unreleased BBC Radio 1 sessions. The 2CD contains the 2026 remastered album, plus bonus tracks and a second disc of the BBC sessions.
Looking back on the recording of Nobody's Heroes, Jake Burns said, "My overriding memory of those sessions is we were suddenly under pressure, which had never been the case before. Not only had we signed to a major, but we had to follow up an album that was already being hailed in the press as a "classic". Add to that, we went into the studio in November with only five songs!
"Amazingly, those five were almost exactly the first side of the album, recorded in 1979, the same year that "Inflammable Material" was released. We took Christmas off and came back in January with the final five. And I remember Doug Bennett, our producer, saying to me at the final playback. 'When we started, I never imagined we'd end up with something like this!' And he meant it in a good way!"

Inflammable Material box set: remastered with previously unreleased material

After a lot of work behind the scenes, we're delighted to announce that our debut, ‘Inflammable Material’, has been newly remastered and will be reissued on 21st November in three formats: 2 LP vinyl,  2CD, and 4CD plus DVD box set, overseen by Gordon Ogilvie, the band's original manager.

The limited edition 4CD/1DVD set features a remastered version of the original album, a disc of unreleased demos (including the previously unreleased song "Revenge"), an unreleased live performance from Troon in 1979, and a CD of the pertinent John Peel sessions from the BBC. The DVD contains unreleased material: The legendary Rough Trade promo video from 1979, a previously unreleased version of the band performing ‘Alternative Ulster’ from October 1978, plus an interview, originally included in the film Shellshock Rock (Hollywood Films), and a performance from The Old Grey Whistle Test from Friars in May 1979.

Accompanying the music are photos of the band and rare memorabilia, plus new liner notes from legendary journalist Stuart Baillie. Only 5000 of the 4CD/1DVD set will be made.

New Release: Stiff Little Fingers Live at Rockpalast 1980 & 1989

New Stiff Little Fingers live CD/DVD set out now: Live at Rockpalast. Comprised of three discs, “Live at Rockpalast 1980 & 1989” – the first two discs are audio-only, featuring the band's 1980 and 1989 performances, while the third disc is a DVD of the group’s classic 1980 appearance on Germany’s long-running music show.

Jake Burns remembers, "The place was packed and the audience was with us from the first note. They were wonderful, singing and bouncing along. It really felt like a 'home game' to use a football analogy. I thought we played really well too, apart from a slight timing mistake during "Back to Front", a new song we were still learning. (See if you can spot my giving Jim the "look of death" at that point! LOL!)."

Previously available only as a lesser-quality bootleg, this is the earliest official video release of a full Stiff Little Fingers concert.

The CD/DVD is available on Amazon and other musical outlets. The streaming version is available on your usual streaming apps. View the trailer now on YouTube, and enjoy!
